Celebrating Caribbean immigration to the UK

Sixty years ago this weekend almost 500 men boarded a boat in Jamaica and headed for the port of Tilbury in South East England.

Their journey was the start of a modern-day exodus from the Caribbean to Britain, something that changed our country for good.

Our reporter Derek Johnson has been back to Jamaica to tell the story of the Empire Windrush boat and how her docking changed British history.
