Viewers can send in their comments, where stated, to the ITV Regional news programme (the ‘programme’) by SMS text, email and/or phone, as specified in the programme. Please note it is not possible to end in comments via the website or post.
SMS: Each SMS text message costs 25 pence plus one standard network rate reply message. The total cost will be dependent on your mobile network. You may opt out of receiving any marketing communications from ITV in any bounceback message by adding the word NOINFO after the keyword as specified in the programme.
Phone: Each telephone call costs 10 pence per minute up to a maximum charge of 20 pence from a BT landline. Calls from other networks may be higher and from mobiles will be considerably more.
Where the number to be dialled as stated in the programme is a freephone number, there is no charge for such calls when dialling from a BT landline. However, calls to such freephone numbers from a mobile phone or other networks will cost considerably more dependent on the voter's network.
Please ask permission from the bill payer before dialling and please dial carefully and sensibly. There will be no refunds for the cost of any text or phone calls made or for any misdialled phone numbers, shortcodes or misspelt keywords.
Email: there is no charge for comments via email, subject to the viewer’s internet access charges.
Where the comment lines are opened and closed as specified on the programme phone calls made, or SMS texts and/or emails sent or received outside of these specified times will not be considered for inclusion in the programme, and you may still be charged where applicable. Comment line times are liable to change and ITV may suspend, withdraw or re-set the comment line at its sole discretion at any time.
