The Way We Were: Footage Information Line Guidelines
1. Information line
You may call phone number, 02380 682393 to listen to a recorded message asking for you to leave a message with your name and contact details so you can be called or emailed back if you wish to send in footage to be considered for use within ‘The Way We Were’ programme on ITV1 (the ‘programme’). We will endeavour to contact you and arrange for your footage to be sent to us in an appropriate format. ITV cannot guarantee that every caller will be called back, nor that every footage sent in will be used within the programme.
Each phone call costs a maximum of 8p per minute from a BT landline. Call costs from mobiles and other networks may be higher. The recorded message and the available time to leave your message lasts no longer than two (2) minutes. The total cost will be dependent on your network. Please ask permission from the bill payer before calling and please dial carefully. There will be no refunds for the cost of any calls made, or for any misdialled calls.
You may call the phone number as many times as you like. The phone number can be dialled from anywhere in the United Kingdom.
ITV, the producers of the programme and their sub-contractors do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any telephone network or line, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any calls not being properly received, heard or recorded.
ITV cannot promise that the phone number will be free from errors or omissions nor that they will be available uninterrupted and in a fully operating condition. The phone number may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond the reasonable control of ITV. ITV will not be liable to you or to any other person in the event that all or any part of the phone number being discontinued, modified or changed in any way.
Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts your statutory rights as a consumer. For more details on your statutory rights you should contact your local Trading Standards Office or Citizen's Advice Bureau.
2. Queries/complaints
If you have an additional query about your call, you may also register your query with the ITV duty office who can be contacted by phone on 0844 88 14150, or by email at dutyoffice@itv.com. You will need to give the following information:
(a) Your Name
(b) The telephone number of the phone you called from
(c) The time(s) you called when you experienced problems
(d) If possible, your telephone network operator
(e) A contact telephone number if different from number 2 above
(f) Please confirm the number you have been dialling.
