Businesses up and down the UK will be getting stuck in to environmental projects ranging from gardening, to advice on reducing your carbon footprint.
Over the past three years almost 5,000 volunteers from 150 businesses have cleared scrubland, planted trees and mended fences to help schools and community groups.
This year is bigger than ever with action in 17 cities and towns across the country, as Business in the Community is asking people to do something about our changing climate and tackle projects with environmental themes.
So talk to your boss and colleagues and get your company involved in the Cares Day - you’ll be amazed at how much you can achieve when you don’t go to work!
ITV West will be supporting the event and has chosen to make a difference at the Lawrence Weston Community Farm - it's a working farm and supports the local community as an educational resource... over 100 people will be fence making, hay rack making, painting the 'Animal House' and so on!
And it's not too late for YOU to take part - visit www.bitc.org.uk/caresday to register your team or contact Carola at carola.vorlop@bitc.org.uk or 0117 972 2111.
