"Where we live there are thousands of people that are disabled or pensioners and live on an estate that is very large, which is fine if you have your own transport, but if you have to rely on public transport or are wheelchair bound then it is not so easy to go to the nearest remaining post office." - Pete.
The following 60 Post Office branches will now close in Merseyside, Wirral, Cheshire, Wigan, Leigh and Makerfield, following a six-week public consultation which ended on 17 December.
The first closures are scheduled to take place in March.
