McLean slaps in transfer request

Peterborough United's top scorer of last season, Aaron Mclean, has put in a transfer request.

The 29 goal forward has rejected an offer of a new improved contract. Championship side Wolves have put in a bid to buy him but Posh say the offer doesn't meet their valuation of the former non-league player.

Peterborough say they won't let him go for less than £3million.

Northampton Town have signed striker Leon Constantine from Leeds Utd on a free transfer.

The London-born forward knows the region well having played for southend and Peterborough during his career.

Cobblers boss Stuart Gray told the club's official website that the 30-year-old was on his summer wishlist: "There were a lot of clubs in for him and a lot of credit has to go to the chairman...i'm delighted to have added another quality player to the squad."

Colchester continue to rebuild with the signign of Barnsley defender Paul Reid. The 26-year-old has joined fellow stoppers Matt Lockwood and Matt Heath

MK Dons have announced that winger Lloyd Dyer has moved to Leicester City. He's signed a three-year deal with the WEalker;s Stadium outfit.
