Students across the region have been getting their A-level and AS-level results today (Thursday 14th August 2008) and deciding what to do next about further education and jobs. With record results, and a quarter of students getting A grades, there's the usual controversy over whether the exams are getting easier.
¹ Our report from the east of the region includes Sir John Leman High School at Beccles in Suffolk, twins at the Colchester County High School for Girls hoping to go to the University of East Anglia and Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford.
¹ Our report from the west of the region includes Neale Wade Community College at March in Cambridgeshire, admissions at the University of Northampton and a student from Milton Keynes trying to get the grades for Oxford.
¹ The Confederation of British Industry talk about A-levels and what companies want from them.
