Headlines
Conservatives make the most gains in terms of councillors winning control of Harlow for the first time. However they lose their overall majority on Colchester Council.
Lib Dems hold Cambridge and gain St Albans
Greens become official opposition on Norwich City Council – the first time anywhere in the country.
Overall Labour lose councillors but make gains in a few places like Colchester and Ipswich.
