Crime Channel: Your local police forces

There are more than 50 police forces covering the UK. Each one is responsible for fighting crime in its own area.

All now have a detailed website about their operations, with details including: station locations and opening times, phone numbers, recruitment information, local campaigns, appeals and news about crime in their area.

Many now allow you to report crime online or via the non-emergency numbers listed below. If you feel you are in immediate danger, always dial 999.
